Kylie Cantrall Teases What You Need to Know About “Gabby Duran and the Unsittables” Season 2 (Exclusive)

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! New episodes of Gabby Duran and the Unsittables return to Disney Channel in just a few hours and we’re getting the scoop on what to expect from it straight from the star of the show, Kylie Cantrall.

In season two, a resourceful and courageous Gabby (Cantrall) faces even bigger challenges as she continues to protect her alien charges while also navigating the everyday emotional rollercoaster of middle school. The new string of episodes pick up immediately after a cliffhanger with Gabby’s mom, Dina (Valery Ortiz), on the verge of learning Gabby’s secret, which the intrepid teen will have to stop in order to avoid catastrophic outcomes. Other adventures this season will include a robot replica Gabby-bot running amok, an alien friend who turns into a “Predator” when she becomes emotional, and a quest to recover Principal Swift’s (Nathan Lovejoy) home after it’s shrunken down to the size of a dollhouse by an extraterrestrial prankster.

Gabby Duran and the Unsittables Returns to Disney Channel June 4th with Season 2

“This whole season is awesome and it’s come such a long way from season one. I’m really happy that everyone’s going to see it,” Cantrall tells Celeb Secrets in an exclusive interview. “[Gabby] still manages to get herself in some sort of trouble, but she’s definitely good at saving the day at the last minute.”

Celeb Secrets sits down with Kylie — aka Gabby Duran — to learn more about the new season that she describes as “such an evolution.” According to the network, the premiere episode finds Dina telling Gabby she’s in over her head and forbids her from babysitting aliens.

“So much happens this season, but it’s definitely come such a long way. The overall production value of the show has come up with cool sets, and of course, everyone will get to see the fan-favorite aliens from season one along with some new aliens that are going to be in the show this season,” Kylie explains.

“We get to meet Gabby’s best friend from Miami, a visit from her grandma and tons of new aliens and action scenes. We [also] get to see Gabby fight a robot of herself in one of the episodes,” she adds. “Just seeing it evolve from season one — everything from the dynamics changing between Gabby and Olivia and Gabby now coming at the alien world from more of a pro standpoint — it’s cool seeing her develop and evolve.”
