Lana Del Rey has announced her follow-up album to Chemtrails Over the Country Club. According to her posts on social media, her new album, Blue Banisters, is scheduled for a July 4 release date.
The Manhattan native had teased an album titled Rock Candy Sweet last month (a day after she had dropped Chemtrails Over the Country Club) and had shared that it would be released June 1. It hasn’t been made clear if that album has been put on the back-burner or if its title has simply been changed to Blue Banisters.
The cover art the singer shared features the same photo that was used for the Rock Candy Sweet artwork as well.

Along with an album, Del Rey will also be gearing up to perform at the Bonnaroo festival later this year. She’ll be headling Sunday’s event (Sept. 5) – along with Megan Thee Stallion, Foo Fighters, Lizzo, Tame Impala, Tyler The Creator, and more. With this new project release, she’ll surely have a lot of material to choose from to prepare her setlist.
No other information regarding the tracklist, possible features, nor pre-ordering options have been released but feel free to check back to see if anything else gets shared.
