Reimagined into a beautiful storyline, Laura Marano remixed her latest single “Honest With You” and it features the incredibly talented, Alextbh!
“Honest With You” comes from Marano’s most recent EP, YOU, which explored the concept of multiple sides to every story, sharing her side of her story through her music. Marano wanted to further explore the concept by reimagining the tracks of the EP into duets and remixes, including another perspective from the same story.
“I wanted to extend that idea (of the sentiment of two sides to every story) with releasing duet/remix versions of the original songs,” Marano revealed.
And that’s how the remix of “Honest With You” with Alextbh was born! The two talented pop singers’ vocals mesh so beautifully together that it leaves you in a whimsical state.
Reigning true to Marano’s sentiment and concept for “Honest With You,” the music video shows the two sides of the story, with a self-taped music video of Marano in sunny Los Angeles and Alextbh in beautiful Malaysia. The music video visually expresses the different perspectives of vulnerability and excitement of romance and relationships.
