Lauren Hamden generated a loyal following online by sharing glimpses of her true self. Whether it be vlogs of her travels abroad, videos of her daily routine, or a sultry photoshoot in a bikini, the 24-year-old influencer’s main priority is to share the pillars of her personality.
In a new interview with Celeb Secrets, Hamden explained why “trusting your instinct” as a content creator is one of the most important aspects of becoming an influencer. “Becoming a content creator was fueled by my passion for modeling,” she said. “After having success booking photoshoots, I had the idea of sharing the results on Instagram. But that wasn’t enough for me; I wanted my followers to see more of who I was. Following that instinct was probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.”
Hamden continued, “Seeing that I could succeed by following my heart and own ideas allowed my confidence to grow in ways I never imagined. Not only has my fanbase grown, but I’ve also grown — and I keep growing because of that innate trust that I had in myself.” The influencer-model shared that her life has changed for the better because her online followers can “sense her happiness” in her content. “It’s not phony; I genuinely like what I do and love waking up in the morning knowing that I get to do what I enjoy,” she said.
Lauren has been featured in outlets such as Galore Magazine, The Mirror, OK! Magazine, and LA Weekly for her influence and digital storytelling. “I think if I didn’t start following my gut instincts when I began creating content, I wouldn’t have been able to connect with an audience,” the influencer shared. “And without an engaging audience, which I was able to grow because of that sense of self, I’d just be a girl from Australia. Now, I’ve learned to dream bigger and achieve greater things.”
Lauren doesn’t take all of the credit, though. Her twin sister, Katie Hamden, plays a key role in reinforcing her true North. By vocalizing their intentions, the twosome has paved a way for themselves on the internet.

What started as a few hundred online fans quickly turned into over 2 million combined followers on Instagram and Snapchat for the twin sisters.
