Fifth‑generation West Texas rancher Lee Evans Lee has always treated getting dressed like gearing up for greatness — Wranglers at dawn, gowns at gala, and zero compromise in between. That “work hard, play hard, look effortless” philosophy now powers Mrs Momma Bear, her San Antonio‑based label blending designer polish with athletic ease, all spun from a miracle double‑knit that refuses to wrinkle, pinch, or demand dry‑cleaning.
This season, Lee unveiled a reimagined shirt dress complete with a flirt-level side cut-out called appropriately tiled “The Willow.” ($190). From there, the designer blossomed a six‑piece bouquet of suits, vests, bodysuits, and dresses cut to move, stretch, and slay from sunrise chores to sunset fêtes and appropriately packaged it as The Garden Collection.
“The first piece was the Willow Dress… The sexiness of the final version of the Willow Dress ended up setting the tone for the entire collection. Think timeless silhouettes with pops of sexy,” Lee tells Celeb Secrets in an exclusive interview.
With sizes running from XS-1X and shade names like Forget-Me-Not, Jasmine, Poison Ivy, and Black Rose, The Garden Collection’s palette is as evocative as the silhouettes.
“My imagination is always probably on a poetic scale… I even name my favorite squirrels in my yard,” Lee laughs. “My favorite hue from this collection is Poison Ivy. I’ve always had an endless obsession with the variations of green, and you’ll be seeing even more of them in the holiday drop and Spring 2026,” she teases.

Lee’s sketchbook rule is ruthless: if she wouldn’t reach for it daily, it doesn’t launch. That means magnolia‑sharp suiting with a longer blazer and a day‑to‑night vest, and lace or sequins built for brunch, not just black‑tie.
“I’m not interested in creating duplicates of what already exists in women’s closets… My goal is to give women looks that move through their day with them,” she explains.
Behind the magic is that proprietary nylon‑spandex double knit — performance fabric masquerading as couture.
“Why are women’s slacks still made from dry‑clean‑only materials? Why are we forced to choose between comfort and elegance?” Lee asks, before answering with a tuxedo jacket you can pack in a carry‑on and whip out wrinkle‑free.

If you’re not familiar with Mrs Momma Bear and their mantra, no sweat. We’re here to break it down for ya. The Mrs (no period) equals committing to yourself first, while Momma is all about that ’80s born swagger and sex appeal. And Bear? protect what you love fiercely, just like a momma bear would.
“Be soft, be strong, be everything you are. No need to shrink or compromise. That’s the MMB woman,” Lee declares.
While the clothes feel luxurious, they’re built for real life — including overhead compartments.
“A couple of years ago, I went to Paris Fashion Week and fit a lace and fringe suit into one suitcase without a single wrinkle. That was a game changer,” she says. “In that moment, I thought, this isn’t just everyday wear, it’s the new travel wardrobe for women.”
A breast‑cancer survivor, Lee funnels a portion of MMB proceeds toward finding a cure. “We’re meant to lift each other up… That belief is deeply woven into the mission of Mrs Momma Bear and always will be,” she says.

Even perfection gets a plot twist. The Modern Muse Dress ($185) prototype arrived so ambiguous front‑to‑back that Lee and her CAD designer “were cracking up… It came very close to being scrapped, but I am so glad we stuck with it.”
Her dream #MMBfit cameo? Jennifer Aniston in the Black Rose vest ($185). Current obsession? Chloé jelly sandals—because jelly shoes + performance tailoring = Y2K chic meets 2025 tech.
Through it all, Lee hopes every wearer feels one thing: “Be you.”
