Lexi Gail is gearing up for the music video release for her debut single “Happy Endings” and Celeb Secrets has your first look at the new visual that may or may not have a “happy ending” 😉
The Nashville-based singer/songwriter, who released the pop ballad on February 12, tells Celeb Secrets that “Happy Endings” is about “love in its most basic form; whether it be for a significant other, a family member, or a friend.”
“When I first wrote [‘Happy Endings’], I was experiencing romantic love for the first time in my life,” she tells Celeb Secrets. “But since, it has actually revealed itself to be about the love I have for God. I thought it was about a boy until I realized human beings are imperfect and shouldn’t be where I place my hopes, while Jesus has proven to be the constant in every storm I’ve faced.”
Sharing that “Happy Endings” is a song that holds hope in high regard as one begins the journey of navigating life with another human being, Lexi hopes that her fans will be reminded to keep clinging to that beautiful reality after listening to it.
Shooting in three different locations, Lexi describes the filming process for the “Happy Endings” music video an “absolute dream.”
“We started filming on December 12th which happens to also be the yearly anniversary date for the relationship that inspired ‘Happy Endings,'” she shares. “I didn’t completely notice at first, but it became this amazing way for me to reclaim that date and turn it into something beautiful again. We also ended up releasing the song on February 12th, so lots of 12’s were involved in the process of this song.”
