Logan Crosby Shares Romantic Country Tune “If You Ask Me” Just In Time for Wedding Season (Listen)

This summer, the nation was introduced to Georgia native Logan Crosby as he fought to keep his celebrity identity hidden on ABC’s wildly popular reality competition series Claim To Fame. Throughout the season, the aspiring country singer kept a poker face and teamed up with the most knowledgeable people in the house, ultimately making it into the final two before sharing that he’s cousins with country superstar Jason Aldean.

“I was super fortunate to stay on all ten episodes,” Crosby tells Celeb Secrets reporter Juliet Schroder in an exclusive interview. “Once I got on the show, I didn’t think I was gonna be on long, to be honest with you. Jason’s had a great past couple of years and so I thought they’re definitely gonna pick up and they didn’t. I was the youngest one on the show, so they threw some stuff out there that I wasn’t quite sure what was going on, but we figured it out. We’re all still super close and talk often, so it’s super cool watching them kind of go out and do their own thing now.”

CLAIM TO FAME – ÒThe Puppies Are Off The LeashÓ Ð As the final stretch of the competition approaches, an alliance is solidified between two housemates, while one continues to lead others on with her false identity. The trivia challenge tests pop-culture knowledge, and while the winner isnÕt granted immunity, they do get the biggest prize yet when they receive vital information about not one but all of their fellow competitorÕs celebrity relatives. A tiebreaker vote at the Guess Off leads to the final four remaining contestants closer to the $100,000 prize when ÒClaim to FameÓ airs MONDAY, AUG. 29 (10:01-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Speaking of doing his “own thing,” Logan has been making trips back and forth from Georgia to Nashville to write songs and release original music since wrapping the show. And on Friday (October 7), the world got a taste of what the superstar in the making has been working on when he released his romantic coming-of-age country song “If You Ask Me.”

The stripped-down song beautifully describes the emotions behind a man asking for his girlfriend’s father’s blessing to propose. Co-written with Nate Kenyon, the endearing track reflects on the nerves Crosby‘s heard his friends describe as they prepared to ask that question.

“We wrote [‘If You Ask Me’] from the eyes of the groom that’s about to ask the bride or the father of the bride for her hand in marriage. It’s definitely different, and that’s where we got the title from,” he shares. “It’s the kind of the response I think every dad has in that situation when they’re about to give their daughter’s hand in marriage.”

Since its release, Logan has seen an overwhelming response of positive feedback from parents, music critics and country music fans, solidifying that the track is making an impact on listeners worldwide.

“When I started doing music, my goal was to make people feel something, whether its excitement or sorrow. Whatever it is, if I can write a song that takes you to a different place, I’ve accomplished my goal,” Logan shares.

And he’s doing just that, as he says that fathers have been giving it their seal of approval and have even asked for him to perform it at their daughter’s weddings.

“I’ve already got a couple people that are like, ‘You have to come play at the wedding.’ And I’m like, ‘well if its open bar, we’ll do this,” he laughs.
