Loren Gray Opens Up About Her Full-Circle Fashion Era at Tillys and Why Confidence Is Her Real Power Move (Exclusive)

Loren Gray is walking back into a piece of her childhood with her latest partnership with Tillys this season, and its the true full-circle moment that one has always dreamed of.

On Saturday (December 6), the social media star hosted a special VIP shopping event at the Tillys’ Irvine Spectrum store in Southern California, and the vibes were truly immaculate. When Celeb Secrets arrived at the store, we were greeted with twinkling holiday lights and a DJ spinning glossy edits of Loren’s favorite artists while sipping mini hot chocolates with fans that were buzzing to meet the Loren Gray.

For one afternoon, the store felt like a living scrapbook: the place where Loren once shopped for school outfits was now hosting her first-ever curated collection.

And she felt that nostalgia instantly.

“I grew up going to Tilly’s, school shopping at Tilly’s… so it felt like it made a lot of sense,” Loren tells Celeb Secrets exclusively at the event. “This is a full circle moment for me.”

That’s really what this collaboration is: a reconnection with the style roots that helped shape the girl who would become the “Original Queen of TikTok.”

Walking through the store with Loren felt a little like entering her TikTok closet — only IRL and much more shoppable. Each piece in Loren’s Picks channels the cool, comfy-girl energy she’s built her style around.

“I hate being uncomfortable,” she says, only half-joking. “My personal style is glam when I want it, but mostly it’s about feeling good — and safe — in what I’m wearing.”

Her favorite piece? A sweater that fans were already trying to grab off her.

“This sweater I’m wearing comes in every color… it’s nicely fit, but I could still go to sleep in it,” she shares, tugging at the fabric with a knowing grin.

It’s the definition of “going-out-but-also-staying-in” energy, which also happens to be the ultimate Loren Gray uniform. And she pairs everything with accessories, which she admits she’s become “a little obsessed with” this year.

“Accessories can make or break an outfit… a cute belt, silver jewelry, gold jewelry — whatever vibe I’m on that day,” she adds.

Even after a decade online, Loren still gets emotional talking about the people who show up for her. While there are some misconceptions about her being unapproachable, the 23-year-old describes herself as “friendly,” “silly” and a girl who “likes to have fun.”

“People don’t expect me to be approachable, which I hate,” she admits. “When you do so much through a screen, you never get to see the people on the other side. I love meeting people. Doing things like this makes my heart really happy.”

And the fans? They were just as excited, as some were even tearing up when they finally reached her.

When asked which item younger Loren would freak out over, she gives us the cutest throwback story — one only a day-one supporter would recognize.

“There was a carpet where we tied a shoelace around my waist because we didn’t have a belt,” she laughs. “Younger me would’ve loved anything pink… especially the pink off-the-shoulder sweater from the collab.”

Her point: style evolves, but the confidence behind it is what matters.

2025 was a year for Loren, even by her standards. She wrapped filming two movies — including Rebel Wilson’s Girl Group — which gave her a totally new creative rhythm.

“It was a big change of pace,” she says. “To show up on a movie set and be part of something bigger… it was neat.”

And then, finally, came “Monster.” It was her first single in almost two years, and was sparked by fans during a trip through Europe. The song almost didn’t happen, but Loren made it work in classic Loren fashion: ambitious, spontaneous, and with a little chaos sprinkled in.

“I shot the single art in London on my one day off… the artwork wasn’t uploaded until a couple days before it came out,” she laughs. “It all happened really quickly.”

“Monster” is the first of many that are expected to drop in the new year and beyond, as she confirms that there’s “an entire album’s worth of music and then some” that’s on deck.

“Everything is waiting to be put out,” she reveals.

In terms of what’s next, Loren says that fans can expect “everything.” She’s entering a yes-era, but with boundaries that bring her back to herself.

“Everything. Honestly everything,” she says. “I love entertaining and socializing in any form — I’ll try anything.”

But when it comes to her personal resolutions, the answer is more grounded: “I’m excited to be home… get back to feeling healthy, comfortable, and having a routine again,” she shares.

It’s the kind of self-awareness that makes this new era feel different, softer, and more sustainable.

Loren’s partnership with Tillys isn’t just a campaign, it’s her reset button. The new venture brings together everything she’s been trying to reconnect with: her roots, her creativity, her fans, and most importantly, her confidence. And as fans left the store, you could feel that Loren is stepping into something new, something bold, something very her. It’s a chapter stitched from cozy knits, career momentum, and the kind of confidence that only happens when you stop dressing for the world and start dressing for yourself. And honestly? We’re obsessed.
