Just last night, we were apart of one of the most important nights in the YouTube world… the first show of the 2012 DigiTour!
The DigiTour is the first ever-large scale North American tour bringing your favorite-iconic YOUTUBE musicians to life. Designed to break away from the traditional concert platform. Instead, the tour engages the audience with video components and collaborative performances between artists. Meridith Valiando and Chris Rojas, co- presidents of Greenhouse Entertainment (a division of de Passe Jones) and Sarah Penna of Big Frame, are the founders and producers. The first show, held at the El Rey Theatre, included performances from Dave Days, DeStorm, Ricky Ficarelli, Alex Goot, Asher Monroe, Nice Peter, The Key of Awesome along with Fivel & Boo Boo Stewart of “Twilight.” After the concert, all YouTube stars united at the Gibson Showroom in Beverly Hills, CA for a night of dancing, Chiptole, and Neuro.
