“Hot Girl Summer” may be around the corner, but it looks like Megan Thee Stallion announced Thursday (April 22) that she’ll be going on a break to “prepare for what’s next.”
“Due to the demands of the Hot Girl lifestyle Meg has now entered a period of regeneration to prepare for what’s next,” she posted in a really cool and unique “system message” Instagram video.
“In her absence mgmt will manage all social posting on behalf of Thee Hot Girl Coach. Thee Hotties lead a brave RESISTANCE in anticipation for the return of their Fearless Captain,” the video ends.

The “Savage” rapper also changed her profile photos on all her social media platforms, to one of her in some sort of incubation gear, matching the concept of the videos she posted on her Instagram.
Many fans were quick to debate whether this was her announcing a break or if she was preparing to announce something bigger.
Some people even began to comment about her post meaning that she was going to release the deluxe version of her hit album, Good News since the Grammy-winner is wearing a bodysuit that resembles the cover art of the album. There were others who thought that this could be her announcing a collaboration on Doja Cat‘s third album, Planet Her.

But Thee Stallion later tweeted that she would “be back when it’s time,” so maybe those theories will have to be on the back burner until she returns.
