Meghan Trainor is now a mother of two!
The 4th of July weekend was full of celebrations as the singer/songwriter and her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, welcomed their second child on Saturday (July 1).
“On July 1st (our 7 year anniversary of our first date) we welcomed Barry Bruce Trainor into the world 🐻💙,” Trainor, 29, captioned a series of snaps from the hospital on Tuesday (July 4). “He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz…and sideways (transverse), but we had an amazing, successful c-section, and I finally got my skin to skin time! Thank you to all of the incredible doctors and nurses who took such great care of us❤️.”

Moments after sharing the arrival, well-wishes flooded the comments from fans, friends, and other celebrities.
“🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Congrats angel” Ashley Benson wrote.
Mandy Moore also chimed in with excitement adding, “Go Mama!! And welcome to the party, Barry! What a Lucky dude!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
The baby news comes just 6 months after the “Made You Look Singer” announced her pregnancy during a virtual appearance on The Today Show back in January talking about her new book Dear Future Mama.
After co-host Hoda Kotb opens the book, a baby sonogram is inside revealing the news.
“AND IT COMES WITH A BABY” the singer announces before standing up to reveal her baby bump.
And in true Meghan Trainor fashion, Instagram was next up on the baby announcement train, where she posted a pic of herself holding a sonogram with the caption “BABY #2 COMING THIS SUMMER”

The couple shared the gender of their second child on The Kelly Clarkson Show back in April. Instead of announcing it themselves, Kelly Clarkson, played a clip of their son, Riley, 2, saying, “It’s a boy!”
In case you forgot, the “All About That Bass” singer and Spy Kids actor began dating in 2016, with Sabara in December. The couple then tied the knot in a backyard ceremony in December 2018.
In October 2020, Trainor shared on the Today Show show that she and Sabara were expecting their first child, who arrived in February 2021.
Congrats are in order for the happy family!
