Forgiveness in 2023 is rare to see, especially with the toxic cancel culture movement.
Legendary television creator Chuck Lorre has forgiven the lead star of his most popular show as Lorre will reunite with former Two and a Half Men lead Charlie Sheen for the Max comedy series How to Be a Bookie. Lorre and Sheen had a tremendous falling out in 2011 after Sheen had a substantial public meltdown, including calling out Lorre.

This dynamic duo will again partner up for this upcoming comedy show that stars world-renowned comedian Sebastian Maniscalco. How to Be a Bookie follows a long-time bookie named Danny (played by Maniscalco) as he navigates how to continue his career amidst the legalization of sports betting in the United States; while at the same time trying to stabilize his family life, friendships, clientele, and overall lifestyle in Los Angeles. Sheen will play a recurring character on the show.
Lorre and Sheen’s feud began twelve years ago when Sheen had a famous public meltdown fueled by many drugs, including him expressing anti-Semitic remarks towards Lorre. Before their falling out, the two partnered up for one of the all-time most successful and popular sitcoms, Two and a Half Men, from 2003-2011. Perhaps the rekindling of these two comedy icons will bring the world some much-needed laughter in 2023.
