The Spice Girls are coming up on the 25th anniversary of their debut single “Wannabe,” and they are celebrating in perfect Spice Girl style.
Along with the collection of throwback pictures they posted of themselves yesterday (July 8), the girl-power group gave fans what they really wanted to see today (July 9).
The girls surprised fans with the first-time release of the demo recording of their previously unheard ballad “Feed Your Love,” as well as a video of fan-submitted footage to go along with it.

This single is part of the girl group’s new four-track limited-edition EP, Wannabe 25, which dropped today. It includes the original “Wannabe” single released on July 8, 1996, the Junior Vasquez mix, the “Wannabe” demo, and the demo recording of “Feed Your Love.”
In celebration of this song’s 25th anniversary, they also launched a campaign last month called the #IAMASPICEGIRL campaign, in which they asked their superfans to share their spiciest stories. They even posted a video of “Wannabe” featuring super fans wearing their favorite Spice Girls gear and doing their favorite iconic Spice Girls dance moves from the song’s video.
“Feed Your Love,” originally recorded in 1995, marks the band’s first song release since 2007.
