After capturing the hearts of American and Blake Shelton on NBC’s The Voice, contestant Michelle Ray has shown no signs of slowing down.
The LA-based singer/songwriter has catapulted into prominence both locally and nationally since her time on television, as she’s amassed over 3.5M Spotify streams on her recent collaboration with Pop Mage.
Today (November 18), Ray puts herself in superstar position for 2023 with the release of her new single “Run To,” which you can hear exclusively on Celeb Secrets.
In the new song, Michelle grapples with not losing yourself in a relationship, especially when what you give doesn’t always feel reciprocated. Teaming up with Eric Lee Carpenter, Michael Blum and Myah Marie, “Run To” is a blast of empowering energy and hard realizations, best appreciated shouting the lyrics with friends in the car, windows down, or equally by yourself in your room with the door closed. In her words, it’s a certified “pop bop!”
The track will be available on all streaming platforms via Full Time Records, Fire Tower Entertainment’s new label imprint. After a string of highly successful releases through its management arm, including “HOME” by Emblem3’s Wesley Stromberg, “1 last bye” by TikTok stars Kiran + Nivi, and “Big” by Idol finalist MacKenzie Bourg, Fire Tower is elated to launch Full Time Records in partnership with the superbly talented songstress Michelle Ray.
CEO and Founder Evan Griffith will oversee Full Time Records along with Ruth Nichols, Yuval Sorkin, and Roman Ferrer of the Fire Tower team. After working in A&R at management company Gramophone Media and at Sony Music’s Epic Records, Evan is excited to bring his experience and expertise to his own label, giving it a true “full time” commitment.
