Look forward to a “Party in the U.S.A” with Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson! The duo will be hosting Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party on NBC this December 31st.
Live from Miami, the multi-platinum artist and SNL comedian will be guiding viewers throughout the night leading up to the major celebration of the new year arriving. The two will be replacing Carson Daly for the first time in 16 years, who has been hosting NBC’s New Year’s Eve special since 2004.
The “Plastic Hearts” singer took to Instagram took express her excitement to fans. “EVERYONE finding out me and Pete Davidson are hosting #MileysNewYearsEveParty in Miami 12/31 on @nbc 🎉” she wrote.

Neither one of them are strangers to the company. Davidson is known for his comedic abilities on Saturday Night Live since 2016. As for Cyrus, she took center stage as a coach on The Voice for two seasons, has hosted SNL 3 times and sealed an overall talent and development deal with NBCUniversal Television and Streaming in May of this year.
“I have had an incredible long-lasting relationship with NBC for years!” Cyrus said in a statement to NBC. “Many memorable moments in my career have been shared and supported by NBCU! This feels like a natural progression and I am looking forward to creating content that we love and hope everyone who watches does too!”
Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party will include a star-studded line of guests and performances all from the Sunshine State. Catch the special live from Miami on December 31 starting at 10:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. ET or live-stream it on Peacock.
