Miley Cyrus’ Letter To Hannah Montana Has Us In Our Childhood Feels

It’s been exactly 15 years since the first episode of Disney Channel’s iconic show, Hannah Montana aired. Feel old yet? Because we sure do.

If you missed the news, Hannah Montana’s social media accounts were discovered earlier this week ahead of the 15th anniversary and have had everyone speculating whether Disney has something new in the works—maybe a possible revival? Especially because Miss Miley Cyrus follows both verified accounts.

If that alone wasn’t making you feel nostalgic already and have the urge to have a Hannah Montana binge-watch on Disney+, we’re sure that this will.

Miley took to Twitter to share a letter she wrote to her beloved character, Hannah, and well maybe there’s a little bit of dust that got into our eyes.

“Hi Hannah, It’s been a while. 15 years to be exact,” she starts off the letter, written on super cute Hannah Montana stationery paper.

“Although you are considered to be an ‘alter-ego’ in reality there was a time in my life when you held more of my identity in your glove than I did in my bare hands.”

She then goes on to pen about all the “firsts” she had while on set and how she gained a family in her costars; Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, and Jason Earles. She also gives her thanks to the pop star sensation for helping her “fulfill my destiny.”

Hannah Montana of course retweets her letter and replies with “Nice to hear from you
@MileyCyrus. It’s only been a decade.”

What an incredibly touching and sweet way to kick off the 15-year anniversary. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for the “Best of Both Worlds” duo.
