Miss Minnesota and Miss Louisiana Win Big at Second Night of Prelimimaries at The 2018 Miss America Competition

The second night of preliminary rounds for The 2018 Miss America Competition were held tonight (September 7) at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ.

During the event, each contestant gave it their all for the Talent and Lifestyle and Fitness categories of the competition.

Miss Minnesota, Brianna Drevlow, was named Thursday night’s preliminary Talent winner for her classical piano performance, receiving a $2,000 scholarship. Also capturing the spotlight was Miss Louisiana, Laryssa Bonacquisti, who was the preliminary Lifestyle and Fitness winner. Laryssa will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
