Happy Monday, readers!
Meet our new Music Monday artist this week, David Fanning.
David Fanning is a triple threat artist, songwriter and producer whose latest single “What’s Next” debuted as one of the top ten most added tracks on US country radio last week.
“‘For me, ‘What’s Next’ is about wondering where a relationship is going next. After a first date, we wonder when the next one will be. After that, we wonder when it’s going to be official,” says Fanning. “But it’s not always about relationships. It seems like in every aspect of life, we always wonder ‘What’s Next.’”
As a songwriter, David co-wrote cuts for Thompson Square, Bonnie Tyler, Scotty McCreery, Tracy Lawrence and Lindsay Ell. He also co-wrote the Top 40 debut hit, “Musta Had a Good Time,” with label mate Parmalee.
As a producer, Fanning is a 1/4 of the New Voice Entertainment production team, which also includes Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy and Rich Redmond (founding members of Jason Aldean‘s band and studio musicians). His producing credits include three #1 records including Thompson Square’s “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not” and “If I Didn’t Have You,” as well as Parmalee’s #1 RIAA certified platinum “Carolina.”
We expect big things from David Fanning’s original music in 2016! Take a listen to “What’s Next” now by watching the lyric video produced, starred in, and directed! Is there anything David can’t do?
