Happy Monday, readers!
Meet our “Music Monday” artist of the week — Kady Z.
Daughter of actress and singer Pia Zadora, Kady Z is no stranger to the spotlight. Singing and performing since the age of 3 in shows and plays helped build her confidence and mold her into the performer that she is today.
Last year, Kady teamed up with producer ToneDef (Green Day, Santana, Chris Isaak) to record and co-write her EP, One Million Pieces. In September 2014, the rising pop songstress released an acoustic EP called Ordinary Girl Undone, which is a spin-off on her One Million Pieces and Ordinary Girl records. Taking her cues from the likes of pop goddesses Robyn & Gwen Stefani, the stripped down EP highlights Kady’s warm, lush vocals and superlative songwriting. Currently, Kady is busy in the studio working on music. She is also focusing on projects in fashion, we think is super cool! Just last week, Kady released a music video for her acoustic version for the track “Crush Gone Wrong.” Check it out below!

CS4U caught up with Kady Z during Fall Fashion Week earlier this year in New York City. In our interview, Kady talks about her acoustic EP, what its like co-writing and producing a record, and her interest in fashion. She also tells us why she thinks you should check out her music and a super fun hidden talent that not many people know about her! Make sure to check out the video below.
