Netflix just dropped the highly-anticipated He’s All That trailer and we can’t wait to see this film!
Starring TikToker Addison Rae and Cobra Kai actor Tanner Buchanan, the reimagining of 1999’s She’s All That follows teen social media influencer (and Rae’s character) Padgett’s humiliating on-camera breakup goes viral, leading her to make a risky bet to save her reputation: She swears she can turn scruffy antisocial Cameron (played by Buchanan) into prom king material. But things get complicated when she finds herself falling for him IRL.
In addition to Addison and Tanner, Rachael Leigh Cook, who starred in the original, returns to play the part of Rae’s mother. Also joining the cast is Peyton Meyer, Madison Pettis, and even Kourtney Kardashian, who surprised audiences with a cameo in the trailer.
In an interview with ET, Rae highlighted her enthusiasm for working with Cook. “[It] was really fun. I think we had a really good on-screen connection…we talked a lot off-screen as well,” she said.
The TikTok star also shares about her time on screen for the first time. She felt reassured that “there [were] so many people on the cast that it was their first time doing something like this, which was really comforting.”
We can’t wait to see it for ourselves! “He’s All That” is coming to Netflix August 27.
