New BTS Song ‘Butter’ Comes Out This May

BTS is almost ready to launch a brand new pop track. Titled “Butter,” the upcoming hit will mark the Korean boy band’s second English single, according to an exclusive press release by Hype Corporation on April 26.

After seeing extraordinary levels of success when their latest English song “Dynamite” garnered over one-billion YouTube clicks, BTS just had to keep the ball rolling. Although it’s been almost a year since we heard a non-foreign tune from the boys, we couldn’t be more excited to anticipate another song that won’t get us lost in translation.

Just in time for the summer, “Butter” is set to be released on May 21. The statement reveals fans can expect to hear “a dance pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS.”

A teasing graphic for the new song showcases a melting stick of neon yellow butter in the form of a heart. Will the pop single conflate the speed of melting butter on a pan with a heart-melting romance? You can count on dedicated fans around the globe to rapidly brainstorm potential metaphors while waiting about a month for the song to drop.

If you haven’t noticed, BTS has been on a roll lately!

From a business lens, the group has already forged meaningful partnerships by creating a special meal with McDonald’s, and even becoming house ambassadors for Louis Vuitton

When it comes to musical pursuits, BTS has already made history by becoming the first-ever K-pop ensemble to earn a GRAMMY nomination for the “Best Pop Group Performance.”
