Since the loss of One Direction last year, there’s been a lack of British boy bands. There’s “new hope” for you in 2017 ladies and they’re called New Hope Club.
New Hope Club are a new pop band from England consisting of three members; 17-year old Blake Richardson, 17-year-old George Smith, and 18-year-old Reece Bibby.
Since the talented boys are now signed to Hollywood Records, Blake, George, and Reece teamed up with the label to host a very special showcase. The band played for the first time ever in the US at Walt Disney Studios earlier this month (March 1), and Celeb Secrets was there to join in on all the fun!
The event was filled with an array of English vibes; there were “fish n’ chips” everywhere and a ping pong table filled with British flags on the balls. The band’s name was even branded on the rackets!
The event was filled with food, drinks, music, and of course a photo booth for all guests to enjoy. We had a blast taking over the photo booth with New Hope Club. They were not only the most humble boys to get to know, but hilarious as well!

The boys treated us with a showcase of their own personal songs and a cover of Oasis‘ “Champagne Supernova.” The three self-written songs that were shared with the crowd were “Fix,” “Start Over Again,” and one that hasn’t been released (just yet) called, “Water.” Get excited Cali girls, because “Water” was written about YOU!
The boys described their sound as “high-energy, anthemic acoustic-driven pop.” We definitely got arrays of Ed Sheeran spewing through their sound, especially from his new album “Divide.”

This spring and summer are going to be very busy for New Hope Club. The boys will be releasing their debut EP this May under Hollywood Records AND will be touring with The Vamps and Sabrina Carpenter throughout Europe.
If you want to keep up with these adorable boys on social media, follow them on Twitter at @NewHopeClub. Stay tuned for more video content from George, Reece, and Blake, as we had the chance to sit down with them and learn about their music!
