New Music Friday: After the Viral Success of “Flowers,” Miley Cyrus Releases Her Highly-Anticipated Album “Endless Summer Vacation”

After “Flowers” topped the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive weeks, fans are absolutely thrilled to have 11 brand new songs from Miley Cyrus!

As a part of this week’s New Music Friday, the GRAMMY award-winner released her full-length album titled Endless Summer Vacation on all music streaming platforms, and we are absolutely obsessed! This project serves as Miley’s eighth studio album, and we can already tell that it will be arguably her most successful one to date.

In a video posted on Instagram, Miley Cyrus explained the meaning behind the album, sharing that Endless Summer Vacation has two distinct parts: AM and PM.

She revealed, “The AM to me is representing the morning time where there’s a buzz and an energy, and there’s a potential of new possibilities. It’s a new day. And in the nighttime, it feels that there’s a slinky seediness and kind of a grime, but a glamor at the same time… there’s a certain energy to the night, that you can kind of feel trouble boil up to the surface, and it’s very inspiring to me.”

With her chart-topping track “Flowers” aside, the album features two collaborations that created buzz from fans as soon as the tracklist was released. Brandi Carlile is featured on the song “Thousand Miles,” and Sia is featured on the song “Muddy Feet” — Both tracks are definitely soon-to-be hits!

As if this release could not get any better, Miley will be making her return to Disney celebrate the new album, warming the hearts of Hannah Montana fans everywhere ❤️ The talented singer-songwriter will perform eight tracks from Endless Summer Vacation, as well as one of her “chart-topping classic hits” and more — Is anyone else feeling nostalgic?

Miley Cyrus: Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions) will air TODAY (March 10th) at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET on Disney+, and we seriously can’t wait! You can read all about what to expect from this ICONIC performance HERE.

With Endless Summer Vacation aside, there were some other projects released this week that we seriously can’t stop streaming, including READY TO BE by TWICE, Takin’ It Back (Deluxe) by Meghan Trainor, Serotonin by Bryce Vine and more.
