New Music Friday: Doja Cat’s Brand New Single Catches Our “Attention,” Serving as the First Glimpse Into Her Upcoming Full-Length Album

Doja Cat‘s brand new song is sure to catch the “Attention” of rap-lovers everywhere!

Attention” dropped today on all music streaming platforms, serving as a glimpse into TONS of new music the chart-topping artist has in the works, including a full-length album.

Her highly-anticipated project will serve as the follow up her 2021 album titled Planet Her, which featured hits like “Woman,” “Need To Know,” “Kiss Me More” featuring SZA and more, AND peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 chart.

Even though Planet Her and her 2019 album titled Hot Pink were massive successes for the talented singer-songwriter, fans can expect Doja Cat’s upcoming project to take an entirely different direction, as she has taken to Twitter to express her dissatisfaction with both of her previous albums.

In a since-deleted tweet, Doja Cat wrote, “Planet Her and Hot Pink were cash-grabs and y’all fell for it. Now I can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while y’all weep for mediocre pop.”

With a harsh comment like that, we can expect Doja Cat’s upcoming project to be anything BUT “mediocre pop” music.

If the album in the works is anything like “Attention,” we know that this new era of Doja Cat will be nothing short of incredible — We can’t wait to hear it for ourselves!
