Happy Friday, fam!
It’s been eleven weeks since we began sheltering in place and besides the fact that the weather is getting warmer, the only thing that is keeping us ~somewhat~ sane is all the new (and killer) music that dropped today.
Lady Gaga is back at the top of our New Music Friday playlist this week with another duet featuring none other than music legend Elton John. Part of the track list for the entertainer’s sixth studio album Chromatica, out today, the full-length project a disco-inspired pop record that transports us to her out-of-this-world universe while we stay at home in our living rooms.
This week was all about collaborations — Rosalía and Travis Scott killed it with their fiery summer smash “TKN;” Diplo teamed up with Thomas Rhett and Young Thug for “Dance With Me;” and Kygo enlisted in Kim Petras for the upbeat tune “Broken Glass.”
Other buzzworthy songs this week come from newcomers Keiyan Lonsdale, Langston Francis, Nova Miller, Griff and more.
