Nick Cannon is going to have a busy year being a father!
The actor, who currently has 7 children and one on the way, confirmed on Tuesday’s episode of the Lip Service podcast that he intends to have more kids. Cannon shared, “The stork is on the way.”
And Cannon wasn’t kidding. According to reports by TMZ, the actor is expecting baby number nine with Abby Del La Rosa.
Just last week, Del La Rosa announced her pregnancy on Instagram. The model could be seen in a bed with a balloon garland spelling out the word “Baby”. In a second post, Del La Rosa didn’t confirm Cannon as the father in the post, but she currently shares two twin boys, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, with the actor.

In the interview, Cannon also revealed he went to therapy shortly after the start of The Nick Cannon Show. The 41-year-old shared that his therapist recommended he “chill out.”
He said, “So I was like, ‘Yo let’s try celibacy.’ And that was like October…I didn’t even make it to [January]. I was supposed to make it to the top of the year. Then obviously I started going through some stuff… I got depressed with the loss of my son.”
Cannon also talked about partners he is intimate with by saying, “We need to reach a certain level emotionally, spiritually. And that’s probably why it ends up in children because I’m not interacting with anybody that I don’t really have a true love…”
