An acoustic version of “Make My Own Sunshine,” co-written by Lane, producer Ilya Toshinskiy and hit-maker Jim Beavers, is included on her recently-released free mixtape, HEART UNLOCKED.
“I wanted to write a song that brought a little sunshine and positivity to someone who might be having that rough Monday or going through a dark time,” shares Lane. “I try to find the silver lining in every situation and this song reflects that mentality.”
Currently streaming on Spotify, the track is available for purchase here. Adding to the buzz, the song was the most downloaded country single on Play MPE when released on December 11.
