Ruby Lightfoot is a 15-year-old model and influencer with big dreams and a huge love for animals.
The rising star started gaining traction after becoming an ambassador for America’s Next Kids Top Model at the young age of ten and has since then been on the cover of Wild Child and Child Model magazine. But alongside her career path of modeling and influencing, Lightfoot also has a huge passion for barrel racing!
“I started riding horses when I was four years old,” Lightfoot reveals, “and ever since then I’ve loved it.”

If you take a look at her Instagram page, you’ll catch some clips of Lightfoot running a barrel race and see how intense the sport actually is! When asked about any crazy stories involving the sport, the model recalls a time when her horse ended up dragging her around the venue.
“One time I was at a rodeo,” Lightfoot starts, “It was my turn to go. My horse was being a little crazy that day and he reared up and landed on his side, my foot got stuck in the stirrup and he ended up dragging me around the arena.”
Along with her competition horse, Lightfoot owns plenty of pets including four more horses, bunnies, a pig, a mini donkey, a dog, turtles, Pygmy goats, and glo fish! She’s a huge animal lover at heart and it’s one of the few things she can’t live without.
Growing up, Lightfoot was inspired to become a model and influencer because of the many Disney Channel stars she watched on television and Victoria’s Secret models. One of her dream goals is to become a Victoria’s Secret model and walk the iconic runway!
While pursuing her career, Lightfoot has made lifelong girlfriends along the way! She’s a member of an influencer group called The Squad, a group of YouTubers who do challenges and activities together!

Celeb Secrets: Hi Ruby, So nice to meet you! For people who may not know you or are getting to know you, how would you describe yourself in three sentences?
Ruby Lightfoot: “I’m very shy, and it comes off as rude sometimes, and I’m not at all. Lol! I like to hang out with my family and animals!”
CS: Looking through your Instagram page, I noticed you’re a barrel racer, could you tell us more about your experience and how you got into barrel racing?
RL: “I started riding horses when I was 4yrs old, and ever since then I loved it. My dad got me going in rodeo.”
CS: Do you have any crazy barrel racing stories?

CS: Aside from barrel racing, you’re also a model and influencer! What inspired you to pursue that path?
RL: “I got inspired by watching Disney Channel when I was younger! I also always loved Victoria’s Secret Models and that’s why I love modeling and acting.”
CS: If you could live as one of your favorite models/influencers for a day, who would it be and why?
RL: “Kendall Jenner! I would love to see what it would be like to be a Victoria’s Secret model.”
CS: Is there anyone you hope to work with in the future?
RL: “I would love to collab with Victoria’s Secret or Tiger Mist.”
CS: Besides barrel racing and modeling, what are your other passions?
RL: “Raising my animals and my garden.”
CS: What are the top three things you can’t live without and why?
RL: “My animals! Water! Food!”
CS: What’s the best advice you’ve been given working in the modeling/influencer industry?
RL: “Always stay true to myself and who I am.”
CS: Do you have any pets? If so, what are they and what are their names?
RL: “I have five horses – Sparky, Freckles, Malibu, Breezin, and Rockstar, six bunnies – Cinnabon, Snow White, Peter, Dale, Midnight, and Rex, a pig named Snickers, a mini donkey named Gucci, a dog named Harley, four turtles – Turbo, Franklin, and the other two don’t have names, two mini Pygmy Goats – Pixie and Trixie, and four glo fish – Bubbles One, Bubbles Two, Bubbles Three, and Bubbles Four.”
CS: What is your spirit animal?
RL: “A horse!”
CS: Since we’re Celeb Secrets, is there any secret you can share with us about you that most people may not know?
RL: “My secret is I’m obsessed with my bunnies.”
