The blink-182 drummer got down on one knee on Sunday, Oct. 18, to Kourtney Kardashian in Montecito, California. While pop-culture fans and A-listers congratulate the happy couple, a source close to E! News recently revealed that Scott Disick is “beside himself.”
A second source associated with Disick disclosed that Scott “knew it was coming,” as members of the Kardashian-Jenner family warned him that it was shorty approaching. However, the anonymous spokesperson confirmed that he is struggling and is “still really sad about it and is feeling low.”

It does not come as a surprise that Disick is down in the dumps, as Scott and Kourtney have had an on-again and off-again romantic relationship for over ten years. Together they created a beautiful family and had three children – Mason (11), Penelope (9), and Reign (6).
Regardless of their relationship status, the two raised their children by co-parenting. However, the engagement might end up changing their family dynamic. “He will always care for Kourtney. She is the mother of his children, and no one else will compare to that,” says a source. At the same time, another one declared that the Flip It Like Disick star would be avoiding the newly engaged couple.
“He will always be a part of the Kardashian family, but it is hard for him to be around Kourtney and Travis,” the second source told E! News. Allegedly, Kourtney always knew Scott had an issue with her relationship with the rockstar.
Most recently, Disick shared with a close friend that he is channeling his energy away from her love life to focus more on their children. While Kardashian’s baby daddy is making his three children his man priority – Kourtney is cuddling up to her soon-to-be husband with a rock on her finger.

While photos of the seaside engagement consume the internet, Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to share a closeup of the ring. “Kravis forever,” she captioned the video that features Kourtney’s oval-shaped ring. Barker’s daughter Alabama also leaked a photo on instagram, where she congratulated her father and future stepmom, “So happy for you guys! I love you both!”
Tying the knot with Kardashian will mark Barker’s third marriage. The musician was previously together with Melissa Kennedy from 2001 to 2002. He also was on cloud nine with Shanna Moakler between 2004 and 2008. While married to Moakler, he had Landon (17) and Alabama (15).
