Selena Gomez has called out body shamers in her latest TikTok story.
The singer took to the social media platform on Sunday (April 10) to share her thoughts about her weight.
The Only Murders in the Building star said, “So I be trying to stay skinny, but I went to Jack in the Box and I got four tacos, three egg rolls, onion rings and a spicy chicken sandwich.”
Gomez continued to share that people constantly criticize her weight regardless. Saying, “But honestly, I don’t care about my weight because people bitch about it anyway. ‘You’re too small,’ ‘You’re too big,’ ‘that doesn’t fit’.”
She ended the story with a strong statement for the haters saying, “Bitch, I am perfect the way I am,” continuing with, “Moral of the story? Bye.”

Gomez has struggled with people commenting on her weight in the past. In 2019, the singer spoke to her friend Raquelle Stevens for her video podcast, Giving Generation, about her struggle with her body weight and how her diagnosis with lupus causes her to fluctuate along with the criticism she received during that time.
Gomez stated, “So for me, I really noticed when people started attacking me for that. And in reality, that’s just my truth. I fluctuate. It depends what’s happening in my life.”
The singer has become a constant advocate for those struggling with body issues and has continued to stand up to the body shamers.
