Avril Lavigne appears to have already moved on from Mod Sun, and is on cloud nine with critically acclaimed rapper, Tyga.
The pair were first spotted having dinner together at Nobu Malibu late last month (Feb. 20) which sparked many dating rumors until, Mod Sun took to Instagram (Feb. 28) to confirm the couple’s split.
“In 1 week my entire life completely changed…I just know there’s a plan for it all. I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken,” he wrote alongside a photo dump posted on Instagram. While his caption did not specifically mention Lavigne, it can be assumed it was also in reference of their split. “Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing. I have the best friends in the entire world, thanks for always having my back. See you on stage.”
But Modsun’s heartbreaking post on Instagram didn’t stop the new duo from showing off their new found relationship!

Instead the two flew to Paris together, making new memories from the ones she once shared with Mod Sun. Lavigne previously got engaged in the city of love to Mod Sun. Despite their unexpected split, the hitmaker and Tyga attended Paris Fashion Week without a care in the world.
“Girlfriend” pop-punk diva and “Rack City” rapper were seen entering the Mugler X Hunter Schafer Party locking hands until they happily shared a kiss in front of lots of people.
The lovebirds continued to enjoy Paris Fashion Week together, by sitting front row at the Y/Project Fall 2023 Ready-to-Wear fashion show. They were seen smitten whispering in each other’s ears in twinning outfit.
