Everyone can breathe a sigh of relief because the rumors that A$AP Rocky and shoe designer Amina Muaddi had an affair are fake.
Muaddi, who is Rihanna’s shoe designer, was caught in a whirlwind of rumors after a writer on Twitter claimed that Rihanna and A$AP split after he allegedly cheated on her with Muaddi. People were shocked by the news seeing as Rihanna is pregnant with A$AP’s baby. Many were hesitant to believe the rumors since the couple had been spotted smiling and hanging out with each other just recently. Still, that didn’t stop the rumors from spreading like wildfire.
Well, Muaddi took to her Instagram story on Friday (April 15) to finally put the rumors to bed. The shoe designer stated, “I’ve always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn’t deserve any response or clarification,” continuing to say, “I initially assumed the fake gossip – fabricated with such malicious intent – would not be taken seriously. However, in the last 24h I’ve been reminded that we live in a society that is so quick to speak on topics regardless of factual basis.”
Muaddi also explained how she felt she had to say something about the lie because it was about her and “people I have great amount of respect and affection for.” She finished by mentioning Rihanna or Rih, as she calls her, is living her “best dressed pregnancy life.” Muaddi also added that she will go back to focusing on her business and wished everyone a “beautiful Easter weekend.”
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have not commented on the situation as the two are expected to welcome their first child very soon.
