R5 took the 2014 Louder World Tour to the Mann Center on Friday evening (May 30) in Philadelphia, PA.
The concert began with a special energetic DJ set from brother to the band Ryland Lynch. During Ryland’s set, the fans were jumping up and down and getting pumped for the main act of the night, R5.
After Ryland finished his set, it was time for R5 to take the stage. The lights dimmed and the girls screamed when Ross, Riker, Rocky, Rydel and Ellington “Ratliff” walked on stage. The band opened their Louder World Tour set with a cover of Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy.” R5 also performed their catchy, upbeat songs such as “(I Can’t) Forget About You,” “I Want U Bad,” “What Do I Have To Do,” the ballad “One Last Dance,” Rydel’s sassy “Love Me Like That,” “Ain’t No Way We’re Going Home,” a cover of OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars” and their debut smash hit, “Loud.”
R5 will be performing at various radio summer concerts throughout the summer. The band will also be performing “(I Can’t) Forget About You” on Good Morning America next Tuesday (June 10), and are in the studio working on their second album.
