Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello have broken up after 7 years of marriage.
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives,” the couple told Page Six in a joint statement today (July 17).
The same day of the announcement, Vergara shared an Instagram post of herself in a blue, cheetah print one-piece swimsuit on vacation with the caption, “Last days of vacay! Even when u r so hot I love u Ravello!!!😁😁”
Julie Bowen, Vergara’s sister-in-law on their show Modern Family showed her support by commenting, “This is what single and 🔥 looks like!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

The two started dating back in 2014, where, according to People, originally met through Vergara’s co-star on Modern Family, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, at the 2014 White House Correspondents’ Association dinner. At the time, Nick Loeb and Vergara were engaged, but a few short weeks later, Vergara announced she was single. Manganiello quickly swooped in and asked for Vergara’s number. The couple tied the knot in 2015.
Fast forward to 2023, the longtime couple is now separated. The couple does not share any children, however they did rescue a dog named Bubbles together.
