Chinese womenswear brand Taoray Wang returned to New York Fashion Week with an epic show at Spring Studios on Tuesday (February 11) in New York City.
Brand designer and frontrunner Wang Tao, who is hailed as “the Queen of the Suit” in China and has showcased her pieces at NYFW since September 2014, says her collection is inspired by Parisian style blended with New York flare.
Jackets, skirts and blouses from the Fall/Winter 2020 collection donned various shades of café au lait, cappuccino and espresso sometimes in swirling accents, rendered in cashmere, wool, tweed and silk bring back that moment and the muted blue and grey coats, jackets and dresses hearken to that sky.
Many celebrity guests were in attendance for the runway show, including Annet Mahendru (Actress, The Americans), Kelly Killoren Bensimon (TV Personality), Krystal Joy Brown (Broadway Actress, Hamilton), Sherri Saum (Actress, The Fosters, Lock & Key) and more.
