In Melissa and Joey, Melissa Joan Hart portrays Mel, the grown-up former wild child of a political family who is now a local politician herself. When her sister ends up in prison and brother-in-law flees after a scandal hits, Mel must take responsibility for her teenaged niece, Lennox (Spreitler), and adolescent nephew, Ryder (Robinson). Spread too thin to manage by herself, help comes in the unlikely form of Joe (Lawrence) who, desperate for a job, moves in and becomes the family’s “manny.”

CelebSecrets4U: What can you tell us about your ABC Family hit Melissa and Joey?
Taylor Sprietler: “Its — a new kind of family! Its about an aunt trying to take care of the kids with a manny trying to get through very crazy teen situations and adult situations. ”
CelebSecrets4U: Can you relate to your character, Lennox, in any way?
Taylor Sprietler: “I’m a lot like Lennox. The things that we’re passionate about are a little different but we’re definitely a lot alike.”
CelebSecrets4U: What’s it like having TV legends Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence on the show?
Taylor Sprietler: “It’s amazing! They’re basically my family now, so its been great! Over the past year we have all been on a roller coaster. I was on The Days of Our Lives before “Melissa and Joey”, and this is the first huge thing for Nick and I. Having them there is definitely a blessing.”
CelebSecrets4U: What can viewers expect from upcoming episodes of Melissa and Joey?
Taylor Sprietler: “You’ll be able to see a different side of everyone in the new episodes. I think you’ll be able to notice that we’ve all grown up and have become closer. Our story lines have gotten more crazy and out there, so I think that people still should be excited to see it. “
