The Actors Fund is back this December for the 2016 Looking Ahead Awards and will be honoring some very well-known actors in Hollywood.
The event will honor Jordana Brewster, Lance Bass, Paul Peterson, and the young stars of ABC’s black-ish during the ceremony.
Brewster will receive The Looking Ahead Award for Education, which honors a former young performer who has made education a priority in their life; Bass will receive The Looking Ahead Award for Community Service, which honors a former young performer who exemplifies giving back to the community; Peterson will receive The Shirley Temple Award, which honors an early pioneer for their legacy in paving the way for other young performers; the cast of ABC’s black-ish will receive the Elizabeth Taylor Award for Social Awareness, which honors a current young performer (or cast) who is raising awareness about an important societal issue through a current role.
In addition, Wilmer Valderrama will be making a special appearance to present the Judy and Hilary Swank Award for Parenting to his parents Sobeida Valderrama and Balbino A. Valderrama.
Hosted by Fred Savage and Ashley Argota, the third annual gala will raise awareness and financial support for The Actors Find’s Looking Ahead Program while shining the spotlight on performers who inspire the world by living the program’s five core values: education, community service, mentorship, social awareness, and healthy parenting.
The event will take place on Tuesday, December 6th @ 6PM PT at the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood. Tickets are available for purchase at www.actorsfund.org/LookingAheadAwards.
