Clayton Leaves It All on The Line for Susie
Bachelor Nation is taken back to the actual episode where Clayton decides to send Susie a heartfelt letter. The letter explained Clayton’s emotions and how much he loves her. At the end of the letter, Clayton asks Susie to meet him.
Susie decides to show up to meet Clayton. Both her and Clayton are dressed as Bachelor producers put together a set meant for a proposal. Clayton tells her, “Susie we have been through a wild journey, from the moment you stepped out I was completely blown away.” He also shares how committed he is to her and how in love with her he is. That’s when Clayton pulls out an engagement ring to showcase how serious he is about the whole matter.
Susie tells Clayton she believes him and she knows how strong their connection is. Shockingly, Susie tells Clayton, “I don’t feel the kind of love I have for you right now is the kind of love you have for me right now.” She decides that she is planning to leave Iceland alone. She also adds that she doesn’t feel that she is the person for him.
Clayton thanks her for sharing her genuine feelings. That’s when he asks her if she can ever get to the point of them being back together. Susie tells Clayton, “I feel like it’s over.” That’s when Clayton walks out Susie and he is left to be the only bachelor in history to get rejected at the final rose.
