When it comes to redefining what it means to be a modern rock band, no one is doing it louder, bolder, and prouder than The Warning. The Villarreal sisters — Dany (guitar, lead vocals), Pau (drums, vocals), and Ale (bass, backing vocals) — shut down The Grove in Los Angeles this week for the red carpet premiere of their first-ever concert film, Live From Auditorio Nacional, CDMX — and proved once again why they’re the hottest force in rock right now.
Captured earlier this year during their three-night, sold-out run at Mexico City’s legendary Auditorio Nacional, the film show the Monterrey, MX natives in their purest form: ferocious, fearless, and firing on all cylinders in front of 30,000 fans. Out tomorrow (August 21) in select AMC theaters across the U.S. and via Cinépolis’ +QUE CINE across Latin America, the release marks a full-circle moment for the trio, who’ve spent the past decade building a global fanbase while unapologetically carving their own lane in a male-dominated genre.
“It took a year to plan — so many people worked with us to make it happen, and now to finally see it on the big screen feels surreal,” Dany told Celeb Secrets on the carpet. “We did like 20 mixes over and over to get the sound right,” Pau added with a laugh. “It was a crazy experience we’d never been through before.”

The Warning’s red carpet looks channeled their on-screen alter egos — Las Wawas — a nod to their sharp-suited, sunglass-clad personas fans not only know and love, but will see in the film. “We really wanted to go as La Wawas, but not too on the nose,” Pau explained. “This is our take as The Warning, but La Wawas-inspired.”
Of course, fans want to know what it feels like to step into The Warning’s world. When asked to describe the film in three emojis, Pau didn’t hesitate: “The rock hand emoji, a Mexican flag, and the surprise face — because it’s full of surprises and it’s very Mexican as well.”
The sisters also revealed what keeps them grounded before hitting the stage — from Ale’s tea ritual to their collective green room warm-ups and signature cheer. “I have to stretch and do my vocal warmups, but it’s also about reminding myself to just go out and have fun,” Dany shared.

And while each sister had a different idea of which track fans will hit replay on most — from “Automatic Sun” to “Qué Más Quieres” — one thing they all agreed on is that the energy of that night lives on forever in this release.
As for their inspirations? “Muse, hands down,” Dany said. “They’re one of the reasons we started doing what we do. To think we can now offer that same kind of concert film experience to fans is just… very lovely,” Pau added.
The timing couldn’t be more perfect. Their live album is about to drop on Friday (August 22), giving fans everywhere a chance to relive the show in full sonic force; and the film screening in over 185 AMC theaters across the U.S. and Cinépolis’ +QUE CINE theaters throughout Latin America. Fresh off a North American headline tour and a run of major festival plays, the sisters are showing no signs of slowing down — with their sights already set on global domination. The Warning aren’t just part of the conversation — they’re rewriting it. And Live From Auditorio Nacional, CDMX is the proof.
