Tigirlily Gold Close Out 2025 With Confidence and Christmas Cheer Through “Mess Out of Me” and Their Hallmark Channel Debut

Tigirlily Gold are capping off a career-defining year the only way they know how — bold, beautiful, and unapologetically themselves.

The powerhouse sister duo, made up of Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh, are closing 2025 on a high note with their new single “Mess Out of Me” today (October 24), and its the final track they’ll release this year. The track was co-written by the gals alongside Benjamin Daniel Goldsmith and Emily Shackelton, while Pete Good served as producer.

“We wrote ‘Mess Out of Me’ to make people feel confident and sexy in their own skin,” the sisters share in a statement. “Growing up, we were inspired by confident women like Faith Hill and Shania Twain, and this is our take on what it means to be a fearless woman in country music.”

After listening to the country tune, we can confirm that it’s a full-on celebration of confidence, empowerment, and femininity, all wrapped in the shimmering harmonies and sassy edge fans have come to love from Tigirlily Gold.

“From the lyrics to the melodies to the harmonies, we wanted everything in this song to sound bold and big. This song really showcases the new season of music we are embarking on,” they continue.

And that new season is shaping up to be one for the books.

Just as they’re ready to show fans this daring new chapter sonically, Tigirlily Gold are also spreading some holiday sparkle on-screen. ICYMI, the sister duo are appearing in A Grand Ole Opry Christmas, Hallmark Channel’s highly anticipated new holiday movie premiering during the network’s 16th annual Countdown to Christmas event on November 29th.

The film, starring Nikki DeLoach (Curious Caterer Mysteries) and Kristoffer Polaha (A Biltmore Christmas), whisks viewers away on a time-traveling musical journey set against the backdrop of the Grand Ole Opry’s centennial celebration. Tigirlily Gold lend their voices — and signature sparkle — with their festive original “Mistletoe Tipsy,” a cheeky, feel-good anthem perfect for clinking glasses and getting into the spirit (literally).

When Celeb Secrets caught up with the duo earlier this month at Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas Party in Nashville, the sisters couldn’t stop gushing about their experience filming the movie and how perfectly the Hallmark and Opry worlds blend together.

“We are in A Grand Ole Opry Christmas and we’re very excited about it,” Krista shared. “We’re singing our original song, ‘Mistletoe Tipsy,’ to get everybody in the holiday spirit.”

“Partnering Hallmark with the Grand Ole Opry — genius,” she added. “Two great Christmas traditions coming together… the perfect love child, truly.”

Between the holiday warmth of A Grand Ole Opry Christmas and the fiery confidence of “Mess Out of Me,” Tigirlily Gold are showing every side of who they are: artists rooted in tradition but unafraid to push the envelope.

As Krista noted, the duo’s sound is entering a new era… one that’s bolder, bigger, and bursting with authenticity. And if “Mess Out of Me” is any indication, 2026 is about to be Tigirlily Gold’s biggest year yet. So whether you’re sipping eggnog with “Mistletoe Tipsy” or blasting “Mess Out of Me” on repeat, one thing’s clear: Tigirlily Gold are making a “mess” in all the best ways, and we’re totally here for it.
