Celeb Secrets has always had a knack for discovering the stars of tomorrow, and we’re stoked to say that Zach Hennessey is definitely an actor and social media influencer that needs to be on your radar.
Hennessey first started acting at the age of 9 and is best known for his role on the television series The Undercover Squad. Zach also has a couple of film credits under his belt that includes Cartwheels and Backflips, Humans in Training, and Penguin Flu.
Just recently, the teen made his mark in the fashion world and is launching his own clothing line called Funkhouse. He (virtually) sat down with Celeb Secrets to discuss this new path he’s going down as well as what got him into acting and who his acting inspiration is.

Celeb Secrets: Zach, can you please tell us a little bit more about you?
Zach: I am 16 years old. I live in Valencia CA, I love to do TikTok, hanging out with my friends, and I enjoy being an actor.
CS: What sparked your interest in acting?
Z: I used to watch the walking dead and the actor Chandler Riggs really sparked my interest. I always loved to be in plays and acting at school, but when I turned around 10 that’s when I really wanted to be on TV.
CS: What has been your favorite role to play so far?
Z: I think I would have to say “Honey” it was a commercial for online shopping. It was really cool. They dressed me up like this really goth kid and I pretty much got to act like myself with a bit more attitude haha.
CS: Which role was the most like you? What about least?
Z: I would say the first short film I did, it was called cartwheels and backflips was the least like me, I was supposed to be super quiet and not talk a lot and that is [the] complete opposite of my personality, I am so outgoing and love talking to everyone. The role that was a lot like me was for the commercial “Honey” I had to dress Goth and I am a little eccentric already, so that was pretty easy. I also liked the character that I was playing, because it reminded me of myself a lot.
CS: Do you have any favorite actors? Whose work do you admire?
Z: Pete Davidson is probably my favorite actor because he pretty much plays himself. I love every single one of his movies, they are so funny. He is just a great actor.
CS: What kind of roles do you hope to play in the future and why?
Z: I hope to play coming of age movies because I would get to hang out with a bunch of kids and really cool actors.
CS: You’re set to release a clothing line this year, what inspired that, and what kind of style can we expect to see?
Z: What most inspired me the most is the love I have for clothing. The brand will be called “Funkhouse” and it will be unique, very bright colors and nothing you’ve ever seen before.
CS: Besides acting, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Z: I love hanging out with my friends, going shopping on Melrose, and watching TV.
CS: Since we are Celeb Secrets, can you tell us something about yourself that your fans wouldn’t know about you?
Z: That I have over 100 pairs of shoes and I collect unique clothing!
