Watch Megan Rice’s Powerful Cover of Beyoncé’s “Sandcastles” – PREMIERE

Musical newcomer Megan Rice takes on Beyoncé in her new cover video and we have to say — she’s definitely giving Queen B a run for her money in the vocals department.

The New York-based singer covers “Sandcastles” in her latest video, which you can only watch exclusively on Celeb Secrets. She’s inspired by Etta James, James Brown, and Ben E. King. Those are names you don’t hear usually hear from a 16 year old!

“To me, “Sandcastles” by Beyonce is a passionate story that really relates to many of the melodies and messages in my own original music.  In this cover, I try to portray the same deep sorrow Beyonce expresses in this song,” Megan tells Celeb Secrets.

Megan is currently in the studio writing and working on a collection of original songs that will be released in early 2017. Over the next few months she will be releasing four cover song videos to focus on connecting with new fans across America.
