New Music Friday: Bebe Rexha & Doja Cat Bring The Most Relatable Song Yet with “Baby I’m Jealous” and More

Happy New Music Friday, fam!

The weekend is officially upon us and we have a ton of new tunes to keep us in a good mood before we start a new work week.

To no surprise, Bebe Rexha and Doja Cat are topping our New Music Friday playlist this week with their song “Baby I’m Jealous,” a pop song that explores the insecurities of living in a digital age. Slinking synth work and a shivering bassline set the stage for an intoxicating pop bop about the perils of scrolling endlessly through social media, and according to Rexha, it’s all about taking ownership of those complex emotions.

This week saw more collaborations (and remixes!) from some of the industry’s most talented, including releases from Victoria Monét and Kehlani; Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug & M.I.A.; Stephen Puth and Sofia Reyes; Bryce Vine and Cheat Codes; and Kiiara and blackbear.

More earworms earned high placement on our playlist this afternoon — SAINt JHN‘s “Gorgeous;” YUNGBLUD‘s “cotton candy;” Little Mix‘s “Not A Pop Song;” and John K‘s “Cheap Sunglasses” with other buzzworthy songs coming from emerging artists like Maggie Lindemann, Nessa Barrett, Bea Miller and Eddie Benjamin.

Keep scrolling to see our picks and let us know what you think of them by either leaving a reaction at the bottom of the post or by sending us a tweet at @celebsecrets.
