Sadie, 16, and Sunny, 14, Sandler are making headlines with their new lead roles in Adam Sandler’s latest project,You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah. The comedy is set to premiere on Netflix Aug. 25.
Starring alongside their father, Adam Sandler, and their mother, Jackie Sandler, Sunny plays the lead role “Stacy,” a 7th grade girl who falls out of friendship with her best friend “Lydia” (Samantha Lorraine) over a feud relating to the popular boy. The trailer roots for the girls to repair their lifelong friendship through awkward moments, middle-school humor, and growing pains.
The Sandler’s older daughter, Sadie, plays the role of “Ronnie” – Stacy’s big sis who shares heartfelt advice to her little sister going through a friend breakup and navigating the life of junior high. Idina Menzel steps in as the wife of Adam Sandler. Jackie Sandler secured the role of “Lydia’s” mom who is the girl her *real life* daughter is feuding with in the film.
