McLendon-Covey is most known for her memorable role as Beverly Goldberg on the long-time ABC comedy. With The Goldbergs ending, McLendon-Covey is already booked for her next starring role.
Justin Spitzer is very much known for several successful years as a writer on The Office, and is tapped to write St. Denis Medical.
St. Denis Medical is a mockumentary about a struggling hospital in Oregon. McLendon-Covey’s character is Joyce, and she is the hospital’s Executive Director; Joyce has high hopes for a very underwhelming St. Denis Medical.
Aside from season 10 of The Goldbergs and St. Denis Medical, McLendon-Covey can be seen in the upcoming DCOM, Prom Pact, and starring alongside Owen Wilson in the Bob Ross-inspired film Paint.
To elaborate more on Spizter, aside from writing on The Office, Spitzer is also known for appearing on an iconic episode of the legendary show. Spitzer plays Meredith’s nurse after Michael hits her with his car while driving into the Dunder Mifflin parking lot in the first episode of season three. Something of note, McLendon-Covey also appeared on an episode of the beloved comedy as she played the role of Concierge Marie in the episode in which Michael, Andy, and Oscar travel to Canada for a work trip.
