CS4U Goes Backstage to Chat with American Idol XIV’s Top 11 After 80s Night – Watch the Videos!

CS4U goes backstage for the third week of live shows at American Idol XIV!

Last night,the stakes were raised as the contestants faced a double elimination. With the help of 80s iconBoy George,the Top 11 contestants put their twist on their favorite 80s classics.

The showkicked off withDavid Hasselhoffdelivering the results to hostRyan Seacrest,followed by a medley performance dedicated to the 80s. After David Hasselhoffs performance, the Top 11 Daniel Seavey, Tyanna Jones, Qaasim Middleton, Nick Fradiani, JAX, Adanna Duru, Maddie Walker, Rayvon Owen, Joey Cook, Quentin Alexander,andClark Beckhamperformed their own rendition of Karma Chameleon.

The first contestant to proceed to next weeks live shows wasDaniel Seavey.Seavey performed You Make My Dreams by Hall & Oates and received positive feedback from the judges. Following Seavey,Quentin Alexander, Joey Cook, Tyanna Jones, JAX,andNick Fradianihad their chance to perform for Americas votes.

After the commercial break,Salt-N-Peppagave a throwback performance of their lasting hit Push It before the next contestant,Clark Beckham, took the stage. After Clark gave such an emotional performance, it was time for the saved contestantQaasim Middletonto perform Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer. Middleton showed America that he deserved the only save of the season by putting on a stellar performance.

After eight contestants were put to the next round, it was time to determine the bottom three contestants (Rayvon Owen, Adanna DuruandMaddie Walkers) fate.Rayvon Owenwas saved and performed his rendition of Tears For Fears Everybody Wants to Rule the World for Americas votes. With Rayvons save,Adanna DuruandMaddie Walkers time onIdolcame to a close.

The competition continues next week, asKelly Clarksonjoins the top nine to give advice based on her ownIdolexperiences. Each contestant will perform their own rendition of a Kelly Clarkson song. Make sure to tune in next Wednesday @ 8PM ET/PT on FOX to watch vote for your favorites!
