YouTube‘s upcoming Best.Cover.Ever. talent competition series just got even better! Country music star Keith Urban and Latin-urban artist Nicky Jam just joined the all-star cast of the series, which will officially debut this fall. These superstars join more previously-announced artists who are part of the program include Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Backstreet Boys, Charlie Puth, FLo Rida, and Jason Derulo, with more talent to still be revealed. The show will also be hosted by Ludacris.
The show — which is now accepting user submissions at TheBestCoverEver.com – is centered around emerging musicians from all around the world showing viewers what they can do! Participants will be challenged by these competing superstars to blow them away with a cover of some of their hottest songs. The winning cover artist will be selected by the pros to join them in performing a duet of a whole new song. What an incredible experience!
“The internet is the ultimate vehicle for creative discovery,” said Urban in a press release. “It connects people, lets their talents be heard and sometimes produces stars. I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens – to hearing how people interpret my songs – and, fingers crossed, to find a killer duet partner.”
