It feels like yesterday that we were at New York Comic Con getting the official first look to Freeform’s new sci-fi drama Beyond.
In only a few more days, the world will finally get to see what we’ve been calling the series that “keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more.”
For those of you who don’t know, Beyond centers on Holden Matthews (Burkely Duffield), a young man who wakes up from a coma after 12 years and discovers new abilities that propel him into the middle of a dangerous conspiracy. Now Holden must try to figure out what happened to him during those 12 years; how to survive a world that changed while he was gone; and answer the question, why did this happen to him?
Celeb Secrets caught up with Holden aka Burkely Duffield recently to talk about what fans can expect from the series. Beyond is a first of its kind for Freeform, as the entire season will be available for binging right after the television premiere. Duffield spills all on working with special effects, what Holden will experience throughout the season, and topics/messages the show will cover over the course of ten episodes.
