Movie Title: Tangerine (2015) 

This film follows two transgender sex workers in Hollywood. After getting out of jail, Sin-Dee Rella finds out her boyfriend cheated on her. With the help of her best friend Alexandra (another trans sex worker), they decide to give him a piece of their mind. 

This comedy-drama features trans actors in its two principal roles– unfortunate that this is such an anomaly in the industry.

Fun fact: Tangerine was shot entirely on an iPhone 5!
