From Don’t Worry Darling to My Policeman, Harry Styles is making his name known in the film industry.
While fans have already seen the trailer for Don’t Worry Darling, My Policeman has been a little more under wraps…until today (June 9).
Amazon Prime Video and Vanity Fair were the first to release a set of two images giving moviegoers an inside look at the film. In one image, we see Styles, who plays Tom, and Emma Corrin, playing Marion, in a pool gazing at one another. The second picture shows Styles, Corrin, and David Dawson, who plays Patrick in an art gallery.

My Policeman is a novel written by Bethan Roberts that is set in the 1950s. The whole book centers around a love triangle between the characters Tom, Marion, and Patrick. Tom [Styles] is a closeted gay policeman who is in a society that has made it illegal to be gay. Tom [Styles] ends up dating Marion [Corrin] to hide from his true feelings but also has an affair with Patrick [Dawson]. Tom ends up marrying Marion to hide his feelings, but that doesn’t mean it is the end of Patrick and Tom’s relationship.
Michael Grandage, the film’s director, spoke with Vanity Fair on Styles’ fitting the role in My Policeman, stating, “This story is about is about two people that are in love with Tom, slightly obsessed with him,” he continues, “Harry – the world is so transfixed on him, on his every move.”

The film will be released in theaters starting October 21st and be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video on November 4th.
